Cursor keeps banned members, alt accounts and raiders out of your Discord server.

Cursor's staff log: a member verified, and a ban evader on a VPN held for reviewThe Cursor Verification panel with Verify and Why? buttons

Every member who joins is checked against the people you've banned

  • 🖥Device signatures
  • 🌐︎IP reputation
  • 🔍︎VPN detection
  • 🗎Browser state
  • ☑OAuth2 verification
  • ↻Member restore
  • 🛡Anti-raid

Detain alt accounts on arrival

Cursor compares each new member's device signature, IP address and browser state with the people you've banned. A match is held in detention before it reaches your channels.

One-click verification with Discord

Members verify through Discord's own OAuth2 screen. One click gives Cursor what it needs to spot a returning ban evader, and to bring that member back if your server is ever lost.

Restore every verified member to a new server

If your server is ever terminated, you don't start from zero. Cursor adds the members who verified through OAuth2 to your new server with one command.

Questions server owners ask.

What does Cursor have?

Moderation tools and verification tools, made to protect your server from raiders and anyone trying to raid it, from the moment you add it.

🛡Features

How does Cursor stop multi-accounts?

Using our own intelligence together with a second-party verification service, we verify device signatures, IP addresses and browser states.

🔍︎Detection

What can't Cursor protect against?

We can't detect proxies. We can detect VPNs, unusual IPs, and IPs near a blacklisted person's.

⚠Limits

What happens if my server is terminated?

Every member who verified through OAuth2 can be restored to a new Discord server, so you don't have to rebuild your community from zero.

↻Restore

What do my members have to do?

Verify once with Discord's OAuth2 sign-in. That single step is what lets Cursor check for alts, and restore them later.

☑Verification

What data does Cursor keep?

Only what detection and restores need: Discord account details, verification signals and an access token. Our Privacy Policy explains each one.

🗎Privacy

Three signals, checked on every verification

Device signatures

Every verification creates a signature of the device. A banned member on a fresh account is still on the same device.

IP intelligence

VPNs, unusual IPs and IPs near a blacklisted member are flagged. Proxies can't be detected, and we'd rather tell you that up front.

Browser state

Cursor checks browser state alongside device and IP, so a new account on its own isn't enough to get back in.

How it works
